Chapter 7

Reyansh's pov:

I felt a wave of anxiety rush over me. For the first time, I was truly scared where was she? Did something happen to her? I tried calling her again, but she still didn't pick up. Panic set in, and without thinking, I rushed to my car, ignoring the driver, and sped off myself.

Within five minutes, I reached the mall. I could already see my men waiting for me, and I noticed the fear in their eyes.

I jumped out of the car quickly, and they greeted me.

"Sir, we've reviewed the CCTV footage. Ma'am left the mall through the back entrance," one of my men reported.

"So that's why we couldn't track her departure, sir," another one said, his voice tinged with fear.

I had no patience for their incompetence. My mind was racing, bombarding me with questions.

Why the hell did she leave the mall, and why did she leave with Sharadha?

Suddenly, my phone rang.

When I saw the caller ID, a wave of relief washed over me, It was Advika.

I picked up the phone as quickly as I could.

"Hello, Reyansh," her soft voice immediately soothed my panicked soul.

"Where are you?" were the first words I spoke to her on our first call.

She paused for a moment before replying, "We're shopping, don't you know?"

Ahh...

"So, you guys are still in the mall?" I asked, double-checking.

This time, her response was more confident "No, Reyansh, we're shopping at a street vendor nearby."

Why the hell did she even go to a place like that? Frustration surged through me, and I ended the call without saying another word.

I rushed to the nearest street shop, which only took me about 10 seconds to reach. The sight that greeted me was nothing short of breathtaking, my angel was picking out dresses, her smile radiating an incredible beauty.

I walked up to her and wrapped my arms around her waist. For a moment, she was startled by my sudden arrival.

"Reyansh, what are you doing here?" she asked shyly.

I mirrored her question, and she replied,

"Reyansh, everything in that mall was overpriced, and I didn't like the collection. So, I remembered this shop, which I'd noticed on my way here. I decided to check it out. Look how many clothes I've bought for such a low price!" she giggled proudly.

I smiled too, without even realizing it. Every time she smiled, my lips couldn't help but follow suit.

Then she dragged me to another shop specializing in bangles. But my phone immediately rang, "Sorry, sweetheart, this is an important call, and I must attend it,"

I informed her, stepping back so she wouldn't hear anything because it was from the mafia. But my gaze never leaves her.

I averted my eyes for a minute, but when I looked back, my eyes turned crimson and my blood boiled. My entire body is suddenly filled with intense rage. I hurry to my angel and remove that man's hand, but I lose control and start punching him in his fine face, which is not now. Advika took me back,

"Stop it, Reyansh!" she shouted.

The man broke free from my grip and ran for his life.

"Why the hell did he grab your hand?" I asked, frustration clear in my voice.

"Reyansh, why are you getting so angry? He was just asking for my bangle size. His wife is the same size as me, and he wanted to surprise her. He just needed my help," she explained, but it did nothing to calm my fury.

"Then why the hell did he grab your hand?" I nearly shouted.

"While I was trying on my bangles, one got stuck, and he was just helping me," she replied, confused.

No matter what the explanation was, the thought of someone else touching her drove me insane. I couldn't stand it. I could see the confusion on her face, but I couldn't control myself.

What's mine is mine. If anyone else touched it, they'd see a side of me they wouldn't want to.

"Don't ever talk to any man other than me," I warned her, keeping my tone calm because I didn't want her to end up in tears after I'd already yelled at her.

"Why? Don't I have the right to talk to anyone I want?" she fired back.

Ah, this girl...

I wanted to shout, "Because you're mine, only mine."

"Sweetheart, don't believe anyone, they might kidnap you because you are so beautiful," I teased her.

She flushed and asked, "Why would they kidnap me when no one is there as my family?" she answered without emotion.

'Why would she say something like that? What am I supposed to be then?'

I gestured with my finger and said, "Don't ever say that. I'm here, what if they ask me for money?"

She laughed as I cracked a joke. "Reyansh, stop joking about it. How much are you really going to give?"

I will literally kill them

"Even more than a million, if it's for you," he said.

"How?"

"Because I'm a businessman," I declared.

She gasped and teasingly replied,

"I know you have a big house, those cars, and some men around, but you're definitely not a businessman."

"Why not?" I asked, confused.

"Reyansh, I've never seen a businessman who's this caring, especially one who still helps me when I'm a complete stranger to you," she said with a smile.

"Don't ever say you're a stranger. You're not," I insisted, and she nodded happily.

Why couldn't she believe Iam a businessman? It didn't matter. Whatever my angel thought, that was all that mattered to me.

Sharadha had been watching the whole thing and was happy seeing the two of us together.
